Mónica R. Reyes-Santiago is an associate at Gokal Law Group, where she focuses on supporting clients navigating trust and probate litigation matters. Originally from Puerto Rico, Mónica is passionate about helping clients feel heard and understood during what is often a difficult and emotionally charged legal process. She believes strong advocacy begins with building trust and maintaining open, compassionate communication with the families she represents.
Mónica earned her law degree from University of California Los Angeles School of Law. During law school, she served as a board member of the Latinx Law Student Association and the Queer and Trans People of Color Collective. She also worked as a research assistant for two tenured professors, contributing to academic research and the development of legal scholarship through writing and project support.
In her free time, Mónica enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with her pets.
